With essential oils: natural aroma

At DHYVANA we know that if a product feels better on the skin, you will use it better, and a good product only works if you use it consistently. That’s why, to make our daily use sunscreens even better, we have been inspired by aromatherapy, adapting them to all skin types, so that they are suitable even for sensitive skin.

At DHYVANA we respect the origin of aromatherapy, accompanying the state of calm and well-being, but we translate it into our language: micro-doses, balanced formulas and a clear priority: skin compatibility.

Why use essential oils?

  • Better comfort in daily use, especially in products where the natural scent of the formula is more pronounced.
  • Natural and clean aroma, without resorting to synthetic fragrances.
  • Minimal doses, selected to provide experience without “burdening” the skin.
  • Radical Safety as a framework: we avoid excess. If an ingredient does not improve the life of the product, it does not go in.

Who are our filters with essential oils for?

If you’re looking for mineral protection with a more pleasant sensory experience, you’re going to love our photoprotectors. Especially if:

  • you want daily photoprotection to be easier to sustain (and therefore more effective in real life)
  • you prefer a natural, discreet scent that balances the formula’s own odor
  • you value the DHYVANA philosophy: micro-dosage, criteria and skin compatibility

FAQ (for the long block

What is an essential oil?

An essential oil is a concentrated aromatic extract of a plant (flowers, leaves, bark, roots…). It is used for its natural aromatic profile and, in some contexts, for its sensory value associated with well-being.

How is it different from a vegetable oil?

A vegetable oil (such as jojoba, olive or almond) is a fatty oil that provides nourishment and emolliency to the skin.
An essential oil, on the other hand, is an aromatic concentrate: it is not used as a “base oil”, but in very small quantities within a formula.

Is it aromatherapy?

We are inspired by the sensory origin of aromatherapy, but our priority is cosmetic: that the product is compatible with the skin and pleasant to use on a daily basis.
